I recently enjoyed my stay in a spacious Executive Marina Room with breathtaking views of the marina. The staff were incredibly attentive, making my experience even more enjoyable. The on-site dining options were excellent, with a particularly memorable breakfast that was a highlight of my mornings. However, the long walks to and from the reception area can be a bit tiring. Overall, I highly recommend this place for its comfort and service.

The room had a balcony with a marina view, was spacious and clean, and had strong air conditioning. Huge bathroom with a walk-in shower and nice amenities. Staff were super helpful. Pool area was lovely with sun loungers, perfect for lounging. Location was spot on, close to restaurants and the Esplanade. Also, easy access to tour pick-ups.

The breakfast buffet was a feast in itself! Fresh pastries and scrumptious Tuscan bread had me coming back for seconds. Plus, the hotel staff was top-notch -- friendly and ready to assist. The view of the marina from my room was simply stunning!

I truly enjoyed the lovely location at the marina with stunning views, and being just a short walk from both the Cairns Cenotaph and the vibrant Rusty's Markets made for fantastic weekend strolls to discover the city’s charm. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a single traveler like myself, though I did find the check-in process a bit disorganized.

staying at shangri-la was wonderful! the location is perfect, just a stone's throw from the marina. i enjoyed the executive marina twin room, which was spacious and super comfy. the staff were truly beautiful humans, especially bouvi at breakfast who made a special ham and cheese toastie for my dad. room service was excellent, making our stay even better.
